The software behindLoungera'sconnected loungers.
Loungera turns poolside loungers into a self-service rental system: guests tap a wristband and their chair is theirs for the day. Xari designed and built the whole software stack behind it — the firmware inside every chair, the kiosk app staff use, and the portal, API and AWS cloud that tie it all together — working alongside the hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams.

The Role
We own the software, firmware to cloud.
Xari built every layer of software in the Loungera system: the firmware that runs inside each chair, the kiosk app operators use to rent chairs and issue wristbands, the web portal managers run the venue from, and the API and AWS cloud that keep all of it in sync.
The chairs themselves were engineered and built by Loungera's hardware, mechanical and manufacturing partners. We worked with them from the first prototype through production, so the electronics, the enclosure and the software came together as one product.
The Challenge
A rental system that has to work all day, poolside.
Hundreds of chairs spread across a waterpark. Sun, water and heat. Staff who need to rent a chair in seconds, and guests who expect a tap to just work. Every chair has to report in, every rental has to reach the right chair, and the whole system has to keep running without a technician on site.
The Work
What Xari built.
Chair firmware
The embedded software inside every Loungera chair: it reads the guest's wristband, opens the chair, reports status and battery, and keeps working through a long day in the sun.
Kiosk app — iOS & Android
The staff app: rent tables and chairs in three taps, issue and re-issue wristbands, and lay out the resort. One codebase, phone and tablet.
Backend portal
The web portal managers run the venue from: live chair status, rentals, occupancy, alerts, operators and reports — across every zone and every resort.
API
One API behind the app and the portal — rentals, chairs, users and alerts — built to stay consistent when many devices and many people talk to it at once.
AWS cloud & IoT Core
Hosted on AWS. Every chair connects through AWS IoT Core, so status, battery and unlock commands move reliably between the resort and the cloud.
Hardware collaboration
Engineered alongside the hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams — from board bring-up to production units — so firmware, electronics and enclosure ship as one.

One connected system, from chair to cloud.
Each chair talks to AWS IoT Core. The API and portal run on AWS beside it. Staff and managers see the same live picture, and every rental reaches the right chair in seconds.

The App
Rent a chair in three taps.
Staff pick a zone, pick the tables, enter the guest, and tap a wristband — done. The same app runs on phones and tablets, works as a kiosk at the entrance or in a staffer's pocket, and lets managers lay out the resort and manage the team. Designed and built by Xari, native on iOS and Android.
The Portal
Run the whole resort from one screen.
Live chair status, active rentals, occupancy, battery and alerts — across every zone, and across every resort if you run more than one. Managers unlock a chair remotely, put one in maintenance, manage operators and pull reports. Built by Xari on the same API as the app.

The Hardware

The chair, its electronics and its enclosure were engineered by the hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams along Xari. Xari's firmware was developed with them in the loop — on the bench, on prototypes, and on production units — so what ships is one product, not a chair with software bolted on.
